We all are Prey.
We are all in need of prayer for protection. “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Deuteronomy 31:6 NIV
Prey is not just animals in the wild. Humans prey on each other. No gender,age or race is omitted. Violence ,physical hurt and harm is a major form of prey,but there are subtle forms of being prey which is just as deadly. It kills ones spirit.
- PREY- Killing a persons good reputation.
- PREY- Planting negative mental seeds in others.
- PREY- Accusing an innocent person.
- PREY- Bullying,both adult and child.
- PREY- When rank,power,authority is miss used.
- PREY- When the truth is told and twisted as a lie.
- PREY- When every believes the liar.
- PREY- When made to feel less than others.
- PREY- Rich taking from the poor.
- PREY- Repeating secrets
These types of subtle prey stirs confusion of the mind,it has potential to break down the body.It starts in the mind and permeates throughout the body.
Don't lose hope.There is a weapon we can use for the daily battle of being prey. One of best places to start for protection against being someone's prey is Psalms.
We must remind ourselves of these verses daily.
“May he defend the afflicted among the people and save the children of the needy; may he crush the oppressor.”
Psalm 72:4 NIV
“He will rescue them from oppression and violence, for precious is their blood in his sight.”

“He will take pity on the weak and the needy and save the needy from death.”

Don't be dismayed we have the power of prayer to deliver us from being prey.
